Yum, yum, yum! We just can’t get enough of the outstanding food at Veda. Go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and you’ll love it all. With a menu developed by the wonderful Hetty McKinnon, you can’t beat the momos, the soba salad and their tasty curries, plus they have vegan options. It’s just a small place though, so be sure to book ahead to reserve your table.

2. Miss Lee
We just love Miss Lee! Everything from the interior design to the excellent menu will tickle your fancy at this modern Chinese vegetarian spot in Central. We are big fans of the mushroom baos and the desserts are delightful too. Any vegetarian or vegan will enjoy a trip here for sure, but we recommend taking a group so you can try more dishes.

Located in the heart of Central, Veggie SF curates a diverse vegan menu that includes all sorts of internationally-inspired cuisine, for example, Vietnamese rice noodles, Indonesian Gado Gado salad and laksa. And we all love immersing ourselves in its lovely 50s San Francisco vibe while having dinner.

6. Mirror & Vegan Concept
One of the newbies in Central, Mirror & Vegan Concept serves the best vegan risotto and spaghetti dishes in town. Not only do we love the restaurant’s cosy ambience, their risotto with truffle and asparagus has wow’d us on so many levels. Not even kidding.

7. Fook Luk Sau Vegetarian Restaurant
Offering probably the cheapest vegetarian breakfast and lunch takeouts in the area – two to three choices (with rice) for $26-29, Fook Luk Sau Vegetarian Restaurant is one of the most beloved Chinese vegetarian restaurants in Central. There are a dozen of choices available on the menu, from braised eggplants to wok-fried vegetables. It opens from 7.30 am to 3.00pm but you will always spot a queue outside.

Only opened for lunch hours, Soland offers affordable macrobiotic vegan lunch meals for only $50. It’s one of the most beloved spots by health eaters working in Central and Sheung Wan. And don’t forget to give their vegan parfait a try!
