Have an artsy weekend surrounded by live music, opera shows and outdoor installations!
October is loaded with colourful Hong Kong concerts and art exhibitions! Instead of going for the regular Saturday happy hours or staying home to binge-watch shows like FOLKLORE on HBO, we’ve gathered a list of things to do this weekend in Hong Kong so that you can spice things up.
Opera Hong Kong presents Puccini’s Turandot
First premiered in 1926 and set in Imperial Peking, this opera tells the story of an emperor seeking a fearless prince to marry Princess Turandot by solving three riddles posed by the princess, with any wrong answers leading to execution. Presented by Opera Hong Kong, Puccini’s classic opera Turandot is taking place at Hong Kong Cultural Centre on 13-14 October featuring an all-star cast. Definitely one of the coolest things to do this weekend in Hong Kong.
