Happy hours happen every night in Hong Kong, while on the weekend it’s all about the free-flow brunch. Mid-week though, you may be on the hunt for some spicy deliciousness coupled with just the right amount of tequila, and these Mexican restaurants and others around the city serve up Taco Tuesdays in Hong Kong that you won’t want to miss.
1. Limewood
We’re so glad to see that Limewood’s Taco Tuesdays deal is standing stronger than ever. Expect a hybrid of Limewood’s best tacos (Fried Fish Taco, Pulled Chicken Taco, and Fried Avocado Taco), some classics from its sister-restaurant Brickhouse (the Piggie Smalls and Protein Pancake 2.0), and – of course – margaritas. Head on down between 6 and 9pm for free-flow tacos and enjoy a two-for-one deal for their jugs of margarita.

2. 11 Westside
This Kennedy Town joint is helmed by Chef Esdras Ochoa (famed for his role on Netflix’s The Final Table) and offers a mean Taco Tuesday deal. Enjoy 50% off their handcrafted tacos, including veggie, fish, chicken and special weekly tacos you won’t find on their regular menu.

3. Cali-Mex Bar & Grill
Did somebody say all-you-can-eat tacos for as little as $78 on Tuesdays?! Yes. Cali-Mex Bar & Grill did, and that makes us happy. Head over to one of their spots around town and enjoy a selection of freshly made free-flow tacos every Tuesday.

4. Tequila Jack’s
The OG Taco Tuesday in Hong Kong, stuff your face with tacos for just $10 each here on Tuesdays – say what?! The catch? You have to buy at least one drink, but they have special prices on beers, Margaritas and cocktails, so you won’t have a problem finding something you like. Our pick is the Absurdo Frozen Margarita, a whopping 48oz of deliciousness available in classic, lychee, guava and more flavours.

5. Chino
Chino is serious about their tacos every day of the week, but you can only grab their Taco Platter on Tuesday. With the platter, you’ll get nine tacos, such as marinated pork, chicken tinga, grilled shrimp, and other fillings, complete with chips and salsa.

6. Cadillac Bar & Grill
Local fave Cadillac Bar & Grill has a great deal on Tuesdays for soft-shell tacos. Here, Mexican food is presented with an American touch and the same can be expected on Taco Tuesdays. You can opt for beef or veggie tacos, which are $12 from 7pm till closing time. Don’t forget to order a glass (or jug) of Cadillac’s famous margaritas!

7. Pablo
Modern Mexican restaurant Pablo has a can’t-be-missed deal for Taco Tuesdays that’ll fill you up in no time. A starting drink and taco go from just $118 while each subsequent taco will cost $28. Pablo prides itself on putting a new twist on Mexican cuisine, so prepare yourself for a wonderful blend of flavours!

8. Happy Taco
Among the variety of weekly deals at Happy Taco, none’s as sweet as its Taco Tuesday. This taco joint in Hong Kong offers beef, chicken, pork, fish, jackfruit, and seasonal options (our faves are the pork and shrimp ones!).For $238, you get 90 minutes of free-flow tacos with fillings of your choice. Be sure to add on $150 to 90 minutes of free-flow margaritas and Coronas. Warning: the frozen margaritas here are absolutely lethal!

Luxe up your Tuesdays with tacos at Henry. Every week, Chef Nathan Green together with F&B Emporium Executive Chef, Fernando Corona rotate specialty tacos designed around prime seasonal ingredients. Every Tuesday from 6pm, it’s game on for Taco Tuesdays at Commissary. Rock on up to this Admiralty fave and indulge in fish, pork belly, chicken and vegetarian tacos made with love. They also have a list of special sides on a Tuesday (think onion rings with chipotle mayo and charred broccoli with anchovy butter) and cheap drinks, like Gin Sours for just $30.
