The Wee Bean have re-directed their manufacturing efforts, using their super soft organic cotton fabric from the production of their bibs to create kids masks. The CDC now recommends everyone to wear a cloth face covering in public. With many activities opening up again in Hong Kong, wearing face masks will help to reduce the spread within our community and prevent asymptomatic carriers from transmitting the virus. After seeing masks on the market tailored to older kids and adults, they saw the need to provide protection for kids in the younger age range so that they can wear protection that will give a
snug fit to their little faces. Designed in Hong Kong, their fabric masks are suitable for kids aged 2.5Y and above. They come with adjustable ear loops and a filter pocket. The fabric is hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin, making it a comfortable choice for young kids. There are currently two designs available – their signature Dim Sum and Boba prints. Their reusable masks are made with sustainable organic cotton so that you can protect both our Earth and our
community.
For every mask sold, The Wee Bean is donating one to JLife Foundation Limited to distribute to children from low income families in Hong Kong, whose vision is to mitigate child poverty and cross generational poverty in Sham Shui Po and neighbouring areas.
