Black Sugar Coffee – Tsim Sha Tsui East
Love dogs as much as you love your coffee? Then you’ll love Black Sugar Coffee, a new cafe in Tsim Sha Tsui specialising in coffee, homemade cakes, and all-day breakfasts that are inspired by the owner’s Shiba Inu. Even the logo of the coffee shop takes the shape of the dog, which also makes appearances in the art prints and knick knacks displayed around the cafe. Psstt… If you’re lucky enough, you can also meet the real-life Shiba Inu which frequently visits the cafe!

Want to have tea time with your friends? Head over to Teahub in Sham Shui Po. Decked out in pastel-coloured walls and wooden furniture, the cafe creates a calming vibe that makes it a perfect place to chill. The drinks are not the only things tea related here – as main dishes includes chazuke, which is made of noodles or rice with tea soup, and their signature chiffon cake comes in various tea flavours like matcha, thai tea, and more. NOC Coffee Co. Wanchai West
After the success of its previous three locations in Central and Sai Ying Pun, NOC Coffee Co. has recently opened a fourth branch. Named as one of the world’s best coffee shops for design lovers, NOC has brought its sleek all-white interiors and concrete walls to Wan Chai West, but don’t expect a big space with lots of seatings here. The coffee shop only has four seats on the high bar area and a small communal seating, but it’s enough to attract the crowd thanks to their popular creamy latte and cold brew coffee.

Hit The Road
Escape the busy city life at Hit The Road, which makes you feel at home with their cosy interior that literally looks like a homey living room. Located in Causeway Bay, the cafe offers lunch and dinner as well as coffee, tea, and sweet treats, which you can enjoy while enjoying the sunshine through the windows.

Sp_ce
Located in Sheung Wan, Space is a new cafe that is perfect for those looking for an Instagramable space to have breakfast or simply sip on a cup of coffee – and bring your furry friends while at it. The small cafe welcomes guests with white neon signage and a clean white exterior, while the interior is mainly dominated by grey concrete walls and floor. The menu is pretty straightforward and simple, offering a limited choice of breakfast like all-day breakfast, egg benedict, salad, scrambled egg and club sandwiches with a variety of coffee and other drinks.

Kaffee House
Looking for new cafes in Hong Kong that are a little different? Located in Tai Po, Kaffee House is situated on the main floor of a traditional house that has been redesigned with a modern vibe. As the name suggests, you’ll feel right at home at Kaffee House, which is not too big and really cosy. While you’re here, don’t forget to try their pastries and enjoy your coffee in a cute mug that you can also buy if you’d like to bring it home.

Leo’s Espresso Admiralty
If you love latte art, then you need to get down to Leo’s Espresso because they have some of the cutest and the most creative 3D coffee art. Whatever your favourite animal or cartoon character is, the barista can make it come to life on your cup of coffee, which guarantees you to come back for another cup! Though this may not technically be a new cafe in Hong Kong, we only discovered it recently, so we had to share!
