The creative people behind Warehouses on West in Sai Ying Pun are celebrating the end of summer by throwing a block party featuring hip hop yoga, live music, food and fashion pop-ups
The Hong Kong pop-up scene is really going off, with cafes and fashion pop-ups springing up across the city. Following the huge success of its first block party, Warehouses on West will be hosting the Summer edition this month, featuring yoga, craft beer, live music and pop-up fashion. Be sure to head down for good times on the west side (the best side!)
Warehouses on West Block Party Summer Edition
The summer season is finally – kind of – coming to a close, and in celebration, the creative community down at Warehouses on West is throwing a huge Block Party. On 26 August from 12pm, tasty food, good music and even better vibes will be putting a little dazzle into Sai Ying Pun, so be sure not to miss out.
Hip hop yoga, live Music and art
Bringing the tunes and stretches to Warehouse 21, IAM YOGA will be mixing hip hop beats with Vinyasa Flow, so you can stretch and tone your body. The team will be hosting 30-minute trial sessions throughout the day, so you get your downward dog on to a Snoop Dogg soundtrack.
Over In Warehouse 10, a special exhibition and workshop will be hosted by Awethentic, and at Garage Collective – Warehouses 4-7 – live music by local artists will be pumping along with pop-up stalls from members of the coworking space. The Cotti will be serving vegetarian bites, and furry friends are welcome to attend, thanks to the venue’s pet-friendly policy.
Food, craft beer and more food!
Bestbev at Warehouse 2 will be bringing all its best craft beers and ciders for the occasion, and will also host pop-up stores from local designers Melissa Bui, Handsome Co. and PI’A.
In Warehouses 8-9, The Winery will be dishing up brunch along with special locally-inspired cocktails, and Test Kitchen in Warehouse 3 will be joining in the party too; pencil it in your diaries people, it’s going to be a good one.
