Another gold-themed way to ring in 2020 is at the luxe brunch offering from Aqua where the chefs have created their very own golden dessert room. From 12-3pm on 1 January, sample a selection of Italian and Japanese delicacies, including freshly made burrata and precision cut sashimi before using your golden ticket to enter the gold room. Dance the night away at Volar

Tasting menu at Duck & Waffle
Looking for a special night out with friends this new year? Duck & Waffle will be running a special menu ($880 per person + $300 for wine pairing) on 31 December that’s full of tasty treats. Sample dishes such as Venison tartar served with XO mayonnaise and Halibut paired with gem lettuce and buttered young leeks before tucking into a Spiced Pumpkin Tart complete with milk ice cream. There’s even a New Year’s Eve cocktail: Glitzmas, crafted from a mix of cognac, spiced rum, blackberry red wine reduction and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
