4. kikki.K
If you’re into simple yet adorable designs, you’ll definitely love kikki.K. This Australian brand was founded by Swedish-born Kristina Karlsson, that’s why you’ll find stylish Scandinavian designs dominating all of their stationery and gift items, including the greeting cards. Our favourite? Definitely the ones with pastel colours and the stylish gold foil detailing! And they make some cute seasonal cards too, so keep your eyes peeled.

5. Typo
Another Australian gem, Typo, which is a subsidiary brand of Cotton On, offers fun and quirky stationery and living items such as homeware, arts and crafts and tech accessories. Their collection of greeting cards are perfect for those who love joking around, as you’ll find funny and witty lines like “Thirty rhymes for dirty for a reason” on their 30th birthday card, or “Dad, I love you more than my phone” on their Father’s Day card. 6. Bookazine
One of the largest English bookstore chains in Hong Kong, Bookazine also sells greeting cards at their six branches across the city. Our favourites are the ones from The Lion Rock Press, a local Hong Kong brand specialising in cool printed stationery. The greeting cards fuse Hong Kong-style graphics with a little humour, so you’ll find cute illustrations of dumplings, mahjong tiles and Hong Kong-style ceramics on these great designs.

7. Hallmark
When it comes to greeting cards, it’s impossible to forget Hallmark, the largest manufacturer of greeting cards in the US. Whether you want to make people laugh, express your love or condolences, say thanks, or simply reach out, you’ll find the card that suits your need at Hallmark. Although it’s probably most traditional shop on our list, with 20 branches across the city, at least finding one won’t be difficult!

One of our go-to shops for greeting cards, Paper and Cards Studio has an extensive collection of quirky, classy, and minimalist cards to suit various occasions. Whether you’re celebrating someone’s birthday, graduation, a new born baby, or marking a special day like Valentine’s Day, you will find a greeting card that speaks to you (if you love puns!). We particularly love their floral scented cards – they’re not only pretty but your recipient will feel like they’ve also received a dozen flowers along with the card!
