An exciting children’s writing competition
Has your child ever dreamt of becoming a published author, or simply enjoys writing as a hobby? Here’s their chance to showcase their writing skill and creativity by entering the YDLF Writing Competition. Divided into three age groups, kids are invited to submit a short essay to express their feelings and thoughts surrounding the theme of Earth Day – from descriptive to narrative in the English language.

- 10-12 years old: 500-1,000 words
- 13-15 years old: 700-1,000 words
One winner will be chosen from each age group. Submissions should be emailed to [email protected] on or before 10 April 2023.

All proceeds from ticket sales go to Be The Change – a non-profit organisation that works for the betterment of the needy, neglected, and underprivileged families in Hong Kong through education and counselling.
