A month-long campaign starting from the official holiday of “Ferragosto” in Italy, Vino Condiviso Ferragosto is offering Hong Kong the very best of Italian food and wine – all unlimited! Supported by the Italian Consulate General and the Italian Trade Agency, the Vino Condiviso team is working with the award-winning Mato Coffee Wine to bring this unique Italian experience to our city. Guests will be able to enjoy an All-You-Can-Taste package, featuring 20 wines from Italy – one from each of Italy’s 20 regions – along with a special bar snack menu, a series of guided tastings, and even an Alfa Romeo test drive to complete the experience!

To embrace the spirit of Ferragosto (a national public holiday in Italy that celebrates food, wine, quality time, and fun company, though religious in nature), Mato is introducing an ambitiously curated “all you can taste” event. This “20 from Italy” wine selection features one wine from each of Italy’s 20 regions, showcasing the country’s diverse grape variety. You’ll be able to sample under-the-radar bottles from powerhouse regions such as Tuscany, Veneto, Sicily, and Piedmont, as well as rare wines from exotic regions like Calabria, Sardinia, Valle d’Aosta, and more. At the affordable price of just $350 per person, you can enjoy unlimited refills of these wines for two hours. To add more fun to the event (as if the booze isn’t enough!), you’ll also be given an Italian wine map, on which you can earn a stamp for each wine you’ve tried. Collect all 20 stamps to get a complimentary bottle of premium Italian wine (valued at $350 or more)!
Regional Italian gourmet curated by Chef Paolo Monti of AMA Ristorante
As food and wine naturally go together, Vino Condiviso Ferragosto is collaborating with Chef Paolo Monti of AMA Ristorante to create authentic bar snacks, pairings, and comfort food. Dishes include Burratina in Amatriciana Sauce; Alici Piccanti (spicy anchovies); and Grilled Eggplant with Vinegar and Oregano.
Italian wine and olive oil tasting workshops
In addition to the all-you-can-taste experience, the Vino Condiviso team is hosting a series of Italian wine and olive oil tasting workshops during the Ferragosto month at Mato Coffee Wine:
