As the cooler weather settles in across the city, Hong Kong’s original Pizzeria Napoletana is hosting its much-loved Block Party. On Saturday, 26 November, Motorino Wan Chai will be slinging its signature Neapolitan-style pies by the slice for guests to enjoy along Ship Street from 3-5pm.
Guests can expect to indulge in two hours of Napoli classics straight from the custom-made Stefano Ferrara oven by Napoli-born Head Chef Roberta De Sario, who has been practising the art of pizza making since embarking on her culinary
career. From a baker pizzaiolo to working for the father of pizzaiolos at Michele Condurro’s Pizzeria in Naples’ city centre, Roberta has always been inspired by the level of commitment and effort put into each and every pizza.
Motorino’s pizzaiolos will be passing around slices of their beloved Margherita and Sopressata Piccante for all, along with select beers and wines ($148 per guest, inclusive of two hour free-flow pizza, wine and beer). Capture the afternoon’s memories with a pass-around polaroid camera, while music, street-side cork toss keep the good vibes going.
About Motorino
Motorino is a Neapolitan pizzeria that uses the freshest, highest quality ingredients available flown in from Naples. It offers an approachable menu of flavourful antipasti, inventive pizze and satisfying desserts. Chef Mathieu Palombino’s first Motorino in Brooklyn, New York, is expressed in everything from the seasonally changing menu and the friendly service, to the music selection and rustic décor. Motorino Hong Kong has two locations: one off the escalator in the heart of SoHo and another on Ship Street in Wan Chai.
