Henderson Land Group has been driving innovation with a vision to create homes and smart living. By fusing innovative technology with nature and community, Henderson Land dedicates itself to creating novel habitats for the future. This year, Henderson Land has invited the celebrated artist Florentijn Hofman, creator of the endearing Rubber Duck, to bring a splash of creativity to Lunar New Year in Hong Kong. The virtual reality debut of the Moon Rabbit offers an artfully designed e-Card and the latest AR technology for a creative spin on the Rabbit Year celebrations.
Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman is renowned for his childlike innocence in his art. Over the course of his career, Hofman has created numerous large-scale public art installations. His works have earned him global acclaim. Through his lens of humour, he inspires his audience to reflect on nature and the power of innate healing in humanity. His works are playful with a conscious expression of positivity. Hofman’s subject matters are mostly giant representations of animal or toy figures. The Rubber Duck at Victoria Harbour that took Hong Kong by storm was representative of the static installations that are the signature of his work. With a reimagined journey in the spirit of Lunar New Year, Hoffman’s Moon Rabbit makes its debut virtual landing in Hong Kong to celebrate the festival.
