In honour of World Mental Health Month this October, local mental health charity Mind HK is organising its third annual Mental Health Food Week 2024 from 4 to 20 October. This year’s theme is “Hey, what’s cooking?” and features over 50 of Hong Kong’s most popular restaurants, bakeries, bars, and cafes to raise funds and awareness for mental health.
Mental Health Food Week: Fundraising and raffle campaign
In addition to restaurants collaborations, Mind HK is hosting its first fundraising silent auction and raffle campaign on Galabid. You can place bids or buy raffle tickets online for a chance to win exclusive prizes! Highlights include a swimming workshop with former Olympic swimmer Yvette Kong, dining vouchers at Michelin-starred restaurants, and staycation packages. Details for the raffle campaign will be announced on Mind HK’s Mental Health Food Week official website in October, so stay tuned!
All proceeds from these initiatives will go to furthering Mind HK’s mission in ensuring that no one in Hong Kong has to face a mental health problem alone. This includes free psychological support from Improving Access to Community Therapies (iACT). Spark meaningful conversations with your loved ones over food to support your own and others’ mental health this October!
