The Metropolis museum debuts a first-of-its-kind exhibition showcasing masterpieces from Impressionist artist Claude Monet.
The exhibition will have professionally hand painted replicas, 3D printed works and an AR room with vibrant projection technology. It opens the mind by immersing visitors in 30 distinguished paintings created throughout Money’s life, focusing on this fascination with ever-changing light and colour as the key to understanding his works. Two of the paintings – A Stormy Sea and Jean-Pierre Hoschedé and Michel Monet on the Banks of the Epte – are lent by the National Gallery of Canada to be specially scanned and 3D printed for an incredibly vivid reproduction.
