Meisner Technique Workshop: 14th September, 11am – 2pm, 3pm – 6pm
___________________________
Sanford Meisner is widely known for his repetition exercises, but why? What does
repetition do for actors that constitute it as a training method? The elusive qualities of
the Meisner techniques are that they are in search for engagement and communication, the lifeblood of acting.
This session will be a safe space for participants to confront their ability to observe
and attend to another actor. While some Meisner repetition exercises will be
familiar, only the essence of attention will be the focus as they will be designed for
your experience in the moment. All levels of acting experience are welcome.
All levels of experience are welcome

Join us in a 6 hour session exploring and applying his techniques to develop a character for stage and film.
