In collaboration with Scotch whisky brand The Glenlivet, Eaton HK presents Kowloon Maze, a live music show and party on the night of 22 March. With a roster curated by Fotan Laiki’s music production house luckigrl, the party will centre futuristic sounds from artists at the forefront of Asia’s underground music scene, bringing hybridised contemporary club music, gabber, techno to deconstructed club with a mix of traditional instrumentals from Indonesia and China to the dance floor of Terrible Baby.
The lineup includes Kasimyn, one-half of Gabber Modus Operandi – the Bali-based experimental duo, who contributed and inspired Bjork’s last album Fossora; Tzusing, a Malaysian producer based in Shanghai and Taiwan who just released his new album, Green Hat, via PAN, an avant-garde label distributing records by contemporary artists like Anne Imhof and experimental musicians like Yves Tumor; Fotan Laiki, a Hong Kong rapper famous for her debut music video rebellious shot in Art Basel Hong Kong that garnered over a million views; Kelvin T, a Hong Kong producer who has released 15 albums and EPs since he was in secondary school at the age of 15; and Kaggy, an up-and-coming to DJ based in HK and UK, from the luckigrl crew.
Ticket (includes two The Glenlivet drinks): $180 (early bird); $250 (at the door)
