Saturday, 18 July, 8:00am – 10:00am
Want to master arm balances and inversions but need a little help? Then this is the workshop for you!
Join Aleks as she teaches you how to engage your body properly and safely when building your arm balance and inversion practice.
This workshop includes warm up, exploration and awareness of various muscles groups before we lift off into our:
Arm balances (crow and its variations, wild thing, firefly, eight angle pose, flying splits, flying pigeon and hand balance)
Inversions (headstand – both tripod and supported, forearm stand, and handstand with variations).
With partner work and individual practice, you will begin to deepen your understanding of these postures. Learning to build communication and trust with yourself are the most important aspects of your practice.
Learn the fundamental actions and movements required to balance on your hands with playfulness, courage, and lightness. It takes more than “core strength” to lift your off your feet. It also requires spine, hips, wrists, and shoulder flexibility and stability.
Inversions & Arm Balances Workshop:
Saturday, 18 July, 8:00am – 10:00am – $500
(Early bird pricing ends on 6 July, regular price $600)
*Please note, there are no refunds within 7 days of the course start date.
