About Hong Kong Players’ pantos
Hong Kong Players’ first Panto series dates back to 1889 when The Hong Kong Amateur Dramatic Club, founded in 1844, staged Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves. The organisation now continues this sense of togetherness as it turns strangers into friends, both on and off stage, with its annual Panto. Having become a festive tradition in the 852, Hong Kong Players is presenting its 63rd consecutive Panto in Christmas 2023 – and it promises to be the best one yet!
