The Hong Kong Green Building Week (HKGBW) takes place from 21 to 29 September. Organised by the Construction Industry Council and Hong Kong Green Building Council, this will be the 12th edition of this event. This annual public campaign continues to educate the public on the importance and benefits of green building. This year’s theme is “Green Building Express”, highlighting the city’s journey towards carbon neutrality by 2050. Expect a celebration of innovation, community, and a shared commitment to creating a more sustainable city.
1. Green Building Exploration Fair
The first Green Building Exploration Fair features six fun-drenched interactive zones. The fair will showcase how sustainable building technology is shaping the city’s urban landscape. Visitors will see firsthand how design and innovation are creating a more sustainable future in Hong Kong.
2. Green Transport x Building Tour
The inaugural Green Transport x Building Tour will explore 10 green buildings on Hong Kong Island. The tour will highlight the connection between sustainable transportation and urban design.
3. The Green Building Guided Tour
This tour offers green practical tips and insights for everyday life. Visitors will have a chance to learn about the cultural shift towards a more sustainable way of life in Hong Kong.
