The Education University of Hong Kong Proudly Supports Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China: “The Silk Road” heralds the theme of “Oneness”.
In ages past, traders from different cultures travelled via the Silk Road for goods between East Asia and Europe. When they converged around campfires at night, music became their common language as these travellers found solace in playing and singing to express their longing for home.
“The Silk Road” concert recreates this Oneness, allowing us to re-experience the harmonious connectedness.
