Organised by the Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI) as part of its GuideFong initiative, the first GuideFong Bazaar will take place at the Hive Sheung Wan. On 8 September, arrive to find a multicultural event that aims to support the FSI community of grassroots and ethnically diverse entrepreneurs by connecting them to the wider local community.
What is GuideFong?
GuideFong is a play on the Cantonese phrase, “街坊”, gaai fong, meaning “a neighbour or a friend in the local community”. It is Hong Kong’s first online directory of small and micro business owned and managed by ethnically diverse entrepreneurs. The platform celebrates the community’s long-standing roots continue to enrich the vibrant cultural tapestry of the city today.

GuideFong is committed to supporting under-resourced entrepreneurs. Since its launch in 2023, GuideFong has been providing a platform to increase visibility for businesses, promote social inclusion, and break down cultural barriers. The over 100 ethnically diverse businesses listed on GuideFong are founded, owned, or operated by ethnically diverse entrepreneurs.
GuideFong Bazaar
The inaugural GuideFong Bazaar will showcase dozens of ethnically diverse businesses. Browse across this vibrant bazaar and meet and interact with fellow Hongkongers from diverse backgrounds. Explore the plethora of products handcrafted by the city’s ethnically diverse entrepreneurs.
GuideFong Bazaar is free to attend. But the organisation will appreciate a $20 donation at the door. For each donation, you will receive a $20 discount voucher for use at any vendor at the bazaar for purchases of $100 or above. Alternatively, support GuideFong’s cause and buy raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes sponsored by entrepreneurs in attendance! All proceeds from raffle ticket sales will go to supporting FSI’s ongoing endeavours to build a truly diverse, inclusive, and equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Hong Kong.
