Blank Page is a free monthly programme that includes a diversity of guest speakers from the Hong Kong writing community, group discussions and open mic readings. The forum’s events are organised for literature enthusiasts and locally based writers by local writer Celia Claase and artist Janine Claase.
We are very excited to announce the guest speaker for our August event: Zukiswa Zuki Ntshinga, who was born in Corhana, situated in the Ngqeleni District in South Africa. In her early years Zuki dreamt of writing books in her mother tongue, Xhosa. She has come close to turning this dream into a reality by writing her life story, titled Luxanduva Iwakho!! (translated into English: “Your responsibilities are yours”) which will be published in the near future. We look forward to hearing more about Zuki’s experiences on 22nd August 2019, at 7:30pm, at Social Room (3/F, Won Hing Building, 74-78 Stanley St, Central, Hong Kong).
