1. Sip Song
A Thai eatery and bar in Repulse Bay, Sip Song is where you can cure seafood cravings while your pal digs into its dog-exclusive dishes. Imagine yourself enjoying a Green Papaya Salad or Tom Yum Goong at their cosy outdoor seats, enjoying the beautiful sea breeze under the sun.

2. The Coffee Academics – The Pulse
Other than being one of our fave breakfast places, The Coffee Academics’s branch at The Pulse is also an amazing hangout for dog owners. Enjoy the breeze at their tables where you can sip on an aromatic cup of coffee as your furbaby plays around. The all-day wifi at the shop will make you want to sit there until sunset.

3. Fineprint
Did you know that this outstanding cafe and wine bar also welcomes dogs inside? We’re listed tonnes of reasons why you have to visit Fineprint with your four-legged pal: banging flat whites, refreshing cocktails, daily-fresh sourdoughs, chill Aussie vibe, convenient locations, and lots more. Trust us, your dog will love their strong coffee aroma.

4. Starbucks (selected stores only)
Wait, since when has Starbucks become dog-friendly? Well, it is now – at least in 13 of its stores across town! All of these branches have outdoor seating and open spaces that allow dog owners and their four-legged friends to enjoy a nice day out together. The best thing? Your pup won’t get left out even as you sip on your coffee, as you can ask for a free cup of Puppuccino with any purchase at Starbucks. The Puppuccino is dog-friendly, featuring silky smooth whipped cream served in a lungo paper cup.

5. Fini’s
Fini’s is an Italian restaurant that also offers both vegetarian options and meat meals. Located in Central, the dog-friendly restaurant is a great spot to indulge in traditional Italian dishes like garlic bread, pasta, spaghetti, fettuccini, and pizza.

6. Feather & Bone – Mid-Levels
The Mid-Levels branch of Feather & Bone, one of our favourite delis for meat, cheese, fruits, and veg, also makes it to our list of dog-friendly cafes. After doing your grocery and searching for different seasonal products, you are welcome to take your dog to its dog-friendly terrace while you indulge in their hot plates. Definitely one of our fave dog-friendly cafes in Hong Kong.

7. South Lane (Shek Tong Tsui)
Is there anything better than having a pumpkin chocolate quinoa pancake or grilled lobster risotto at a bright, cosy cafe? Located in Shek Tong Tsui, South Lane serves an array of wholesome food. We like the fact that there are earthy plants hanging down from the ceiling at their outdoor seats, and the huge area gives our fur babies spaces to chill around. Not the kind of resto that you can bring dogs inside, but the dog-friendly outdoor seats are very decent as well.

8. Locofama
Want to eat healthy and get lean with pup in tow? Locofama in Sai Ying Pun serves up tasty dishes that cater to lifestyles that are paleo, gluten-free, pescatarian, vegan, and dairy-free. The outdoor terrace makes it one of the best spots for dogs and pets to hang out with their hoomans.

9. Bathers
If you’re looking for dog-friendly cafes and restaurants in islands around Hong Kong, then Bathers in Lantau is definitely one of our absolute favourites. The restaurant sits right next to the beach and water edge, making it a totally relaxed and comfortable environment for breakfast or lunch with your furry friend.

10. No Milkshake No Life
American restaurant No Milkshake No Life is all about serving guilty-pleasure food – everything from cheesy toasts and French toasts, to indulgent milkshakes with extra whipped cream, to bacon-loaded brunch sets. And your lovely doggos are more than welcome to join the gang on the outside patio, in fact they even have water bowls to keep them hydrated.

11. Elephant Grounds
Elephant Grounds pays close attention and detail to their coffees, homemade bread, and ice cream sandwiches, but the Causeway Bay venue also welcomes pooches. The outdoor seating area allows you and your dog to sit comfortably for breakfast or lunch, enjoying dishes such as buttermilk pancakes, acai yoghurt bowls, and avocado toast for those who have a vegetarian or vegan diet. 12. Winstons Coffee
When speaking of dog-friendly cafes, you can’t miss the famous Winstons Coffee. Tucked away in the quiet streets of Sai Ying Pun and K Town, the Australian style coffee shop is a great place to stop, rest, and relax with your pup. Find sausage rolls, croissants, hot cross buns, cake, muffins, sandwiches, and even beer.

13. Opendoor Cafe + Courtyard
Opendoor Cafe + Courtyard is one of the loveliest dog-friendly cafes that serves fresh sandwiches, salads, aromatic coffee blends, superfruit smoothies, and a menu that caters to those who have specific dietary needs, from vegetarian to gluten-free to vegan. There’s a book exchange library, a work-study area with free WiFi, and most importantly a dog-friendly outdoor area, where there are plenty of toys for your pooch to play with.

Enjoy al fresco cocktails or drinks at Veda’s refreshed terrace, an urban oasis nestled among Central’s skyscrapers. 15. Enoteca – Quarry Bay
Enoteca is a Mediterranean restaurant in Quarry Bay, that serves tasty salads, pastas, pizzas, and gelato. The open-air space outside the restaurant is a good spot to chill with your dog as you relax with a glass of wine in the sun.

16. Lof 10

17. Stazione Novella
Inspired by the simple Italian wine bars found around the train station in Florence, Stazione Novella serves delicious paninis, Redback coffee, and delicious drinks from its great location in SoHo. 18. Mint & Basil
Mint & Basil is a Vietnamese-Thai restaurant that has an open and outdoor space for your dog. It serves a selection of fresh Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, such as pad thai, pho, and tom yum goong. Admire the view of the waterfront at its Sai Wan Ho branch as you enjoy a glass of red or white wine, or a signature Thai-inspired cocktail.

19. Classified
With branches across town, dogs are welcome at a number of Classified outlets, including Sheung Wan, Happy Valley, Repulse Bay, and Stanley. Offering a selection of over 100 boutique wines, gourmet style coffees, homemade breads, and speciality cheeses from England, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Holland, and Switzerland, there are also a breakfast menu, a brunch menu, and a kids’ menu for the whole family – including the hound.

20. BWC lamma
A small cafe tucked away on Lamma island that caters to the diets of those who are vegan or vegetarian, BWC lamma (AKA Bookworm Cafe) is a place where you can sit outside with your dog for a quiet breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy some free WiFi and get lost in the wide range of secondhand books. It’s definitely one of the best dog-friendly cafes for herbivores.

21. The Salted Pig
This English farmhouse-style restaurant and bar specialises in providing a wide range of hearty and delicious pork dishes. There are plenty of tasty options available including burgers, wings, salads, ribs, and pork belly. The Salted Pig is also dog-friendly and feels like a cozy family-style restaurant, making it a perfect place for fun and relaxing meals.

22. The Next Chapter
Looking for a friendly spot to hang out in Tung Chung with your furry friend in tow? The al fresco seating at the front of The Next Chapter is dog-friendly and the restaurant is the perfect place to tuck into a meal or enjoy a leisurely coffee. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle in Seaview Crescent, The Next Chapter (also known as TNC), is a café, restaurant, alfresco diner, and sports bar all rolled into one. But don’t let the quieter location fool you, as the menu is designed to impress with creative cocktails, an impressive seafood tower, the signature Duck Trilogy entree (duck confit, pan-fried duck breast, and foie gras), and more!

23. Hooman By The Sea
West Kowloon Art Park is undoubtedly one of our favourite pet parks around the city. After your pooch is done rolling around the spacious lawns and playfully chasing after their newfound furry friends, stop over at Hooman By The Sea for a snack or two. The drinks here are just the treat to quench your thirst (note that the blue lemonade quickly gets sold out) and boy are they photogenic! Build your own hotdog with the West Kowloon Special black buns for a quirky twist, or cool it down with a refreshing fruit parfait of your choice.

24. Limewood
Grab your swimsuits and head to the bay for a day out in the salty breeze, and don’t forget to pop over to Limewood where your four-legged companion can sit back, relax, and catch the attention of passersby. Live the island life with tropical cocktails, Thai-style snappers, or the Hawaiian Huli Huli chicken. Moreover, this child-friendly resto regularly hosts interactive activities to keep the younger ones of the family happy.

25. Fleur
Imagine dining next to an adorable pet and not knowing whether to give your attention to it or to the food – that’s quite the dilemma at Fleur. You can easily spot dogs lounging around every corner (mostly napping underneath the tables) and that’s quite the scene at The Mills. This Insta-worthy cafe serves French toasts, salads, and burgers – all delicately decorated with edible flowers. For the pup, there’s cooked carrots, chicken breast, and baked banana bread.

Handily located in SoHo, Cardamon Street has an outdoor terrace where your pooch is welcome to come and hang out with you. Sit back and enjoy a selection of dishes that give western classics and Indian twist and knock back some of their spiced cocktails while you’re at it. This is a great little dog-friendly restaurant in Hong Kong.
