With the opening of W Hotel in Las Vegas, W Hong Kong has truly been celebrating Vegas-style, especially with the emergence of their afternoon tea buffet. So roll the dice and sample all of WooBar’s summer-ready treats in their Sweet Vegas Summer Afternoon Tea buffet, including yuzu-chocolate surfboard cake pops and strawberry mousse chocolate ice cream shaped bars.
WooBar’s afternoon tea also features sin city treats such as casino chocolate dice, raspberry ganache playing card tarts and earl grey and orange token cakes. And don’t worry, as savouries such as parma ham with melon and raspberry, yellow squash stuffed with king crab, citrus vinaigrette and shisho and sesame brioche with pastrami, artichoke and sun-dried tomato cream cheese will satisfy those healthy summer cravings with lots of fresh and colourful vegetables.

EAST Urban Garden Afternoon Tea at Sugar
With the growing concern over harmful chemicals and altered foods, East Hong Kong has been growing its own natural herbs for over a year to show support for the use of fresh and sustainable ingredients aimed at promoting a healthier lifestyle. In 2017, the hotel has brought it to a new level by planting not only herbs, but also vegetables, including cherry tomatoes, eggplant, okra, and lettuce.
The afternoon tea features refreshing savoury items such as layered super food salad, cherry tomato gazpacho, and pea and mint mousse, or enjoy the Edible Garden, which is made with chocolate mousse, to indulge your sweet tooth. Alessi Circus Afternoon Tea at Tosca
Tosca transforms into a magical world of wonder every Saturday afternoon as the Michelin-starred Italian restaurant serves up a feast of scrumptious afternoon tea treats on the Alessi Circus tableware collection by Marcel Wanders. Full of colour and life, the collection features touches of circus magic with rhomboidal, circular, striped and pointed geometric shapes and patterns.
Taking on the vibrancy of the Alessi Circus range, Chef Pino Lavarra of Tosca has devised a selection of colourful and palate-pleasing gourmet morsels perfectly blending with the fantasy world of the circus.
Cerchi stirs the taste buds with a crunchy spaghetti roll filled with refreshing arrabbiata tomato, while Anelli, a tempting assortment of doughnuts dressed in colourful chocolate sauce and condiments, is sure to catch one’s attention at first sight. The delectable snack trio – popcorn, nuvole and mandorle e sabbia, featuring popcorn with chocolate cake, cotton candy and crispy almonds, respectively, is the must-have item to best enjoy a circus show, and to bring the excitement and thrill of the circus to Tosca’s tables, a professional magician will be staging astounding tricks during each afternoon tea session.

Honey Afternoon Tea at Palm Court
Palm Court unveils Hong Kong Honey Afternoon Tea with Guerlain’s new royal bee product: Abeille Royale Collection. In line with this new product partnership, Executive Pastry Chef Matthieu Godard pioneers the extraordinary properties of honey into The Langham afternoon tea. His confectionery creations pay homage to honey produced from an organic bee farm in Hong Kong to bring out the local natural flavours of longan, lychee and the ivy fruit.
The exclusive afternoon tea set embodies the sweet style of the Hong Kong honey with delicacies such as The Honeycomb, a delicious combination of earl grey crémeux, honey and orange jelly, topped with chunks of homemade honeycomb and sprinkles of gold dusted white chocolate pearls. Additional buzz-worthy treats include The Mango – a mango and honey mousse dome filled with a raspberry jam centre, and crowned with a decorated bee almond cookie; and the classic French mille-feuille – honey cream infused with vanilla and yuzu.
