Heads up Game of Thrones (GoT) fans! If you’re looking for something to make the wait for the season 6 premiere of GoT go a little faster, we’ve got news for you. Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays the charming young Bran Stark, will make an appearance at the Game of Thrones Experience event at Ion Orchard.
Fans of the series will no doubt be aware that his absence in the last season was due to his character reaching the end of his story arc earlier than the rest of the cast. Bran – who shares the same bloodline as one of the series’ protagonists – is set to play a pivotal role in the season 6 due to… of course we’re not gonna tell you why! We’re no spoiler snitches, but we assure you he’s pretty darn important amongst GoT’s interweaving web of characters. If you’re eager to meet Stark Jr. himself, follow HBO Asia on Facebook for more information and take part in Starhub’s GoT contest for a chance to meet him.
There’s still something to look forward to if you miss out on shaking hands with Hempstead-Wright though! Thanks to the wonders of virtual reality technology and the Oculus Rift, the new Game of Thrones Experience will allow you to take a virtual ride up the Castle Black lift to the top of The Wall, where you’ll get to survey the entirety of Westeros in all its cinematic glory. Hope you’re not afraid of heights!
The Game of Thrones Experience: World of Westeros, ION Orchard, 2-7 April 2016, 10am-10pm.
