All aboard! In collaboration with Singapore Land Authority, The Local People – responsible for curating some of the slickest flea markets and bazaars in Singapore – is throwing yet another curveball in the city. Stop by the historical Tanjong Pagar Railway Station on March 25, and you’ll be transported into a ’90s-themed Art Market.
Happening on a public holiday (thank God it’s (Good) Friday!), you can visit a slew of hip and cool pop-stores offering beautiful handicrafts, scrumptious grub and lots more. On top of that, get ready to be serenaded with nostalgic ’90s music, spellbound by digital art installations around the platform, and enjoy film-screening sessions within the spacious, high-ceiling indoor hall of the rustic station.
Do you need more reasons to go? Not only is this pop-up event free, but it also gives back to charity! To gain entry, you just need to bring a food donation with you – this will be passed on to adopted charity, Food From The Heart. So ring up your best pals, rummage through your closet for the best ’90s fashion (we won’t judge!), and most importantly, some cash along – they only accept cash.
