Though we\u2019d love to kick things off with a mouthwatering, eye-widening description of everyone\u2019s favourite ribs in Bali, we\u2019ve got to get one thing straight first. You see, Naughty Nuri\u2019s<\/a> has built itself quite a reputation on the island. It\u2019s become so iconic, so popular and so loved for its juicy, smokey and downright delicious pork ribs, that people want a piece of the porky pie. Yup, there are impersonators pretending to be the original, and we ain\u2019t having any of it.<\/p>\n

So FYI, to make sure you\u2019re getting only the very best when looking for your killer rib fix in Seminyak, there is only one REAL Naughty Nuri\u2019s, located on Jalan Mertanadi. And unless it\u2019s got the Naughty Nuri\u2019s logo, slathers on the secret Naughty Nuri\u2019s sauce, and does the signature Naughty Nuri\u2019s shake-shake dance with every twisted martini or margarita ordered – it ain\u2019t Nuri\u2019s!<\/p>\n

Now, let\u2019s get back to that mouthwatering, eye-widening rib-porn\u2026 A smouldering barbecue, a smooth, sticky sauce, and a plump and juicy rack that\u2019ll have you licking your lips and begging for more – oh my!<\/p>\n

That\u2019s right, these naughty but oh-so-nice spare ribs are ready to rock your world – caveman-style. A whopping 600 grams, they\u2019re a seriously mean and succulent slab, glutinously glazed in Nuri\u2019s top secret recipe – so secret that even a few thousand rupiahs under the table didn\u2019t get us any insight into the magic. But what we do know is that these mammoth morsels are grilled to fall-off-the-bone perfection on the famous Nuri\u2019s BBQ, leaving a light charring on the outside for a sumptuous, smoky finish. Lip-smacking deliciousness right there.<\/p>\n

But these sticky babies aren\u2019t the only naughty thing on the menu. There are cheeseburgers and chicken caesars, pork poppers and potato wedges, and almost as famous as the ribs themselves are the knock-out margaritas and twisted martinis. In fact, they\u2019re so good that legendary food critic Anthony Bourdain once called them \u2018the best outside of Manhattan\u2019. Now that\u2019s saying something.<\/p>\n

And in keeping with Nuri\u2019s motto, \u201cIt\u2019s five o\u2019clock somewhere\u201d [which just so happens to be ours, too], a Nuri\u2019s trip can be made extra naughty with the martini and margarita \u201cWall of Fame\u201d. The deal is, if thirsty little piggies can sink three martinis or four [massive] margaritas, then their name is carved into the wall for life. Yes you guessed it, Honeycombers made the cut. And we definitely joined in with the naughty waitresses who wiggle and jiggle for the signature \u201cshake-shake\u201d dance. What a hoot!<\/p>\n

So, if you don\u2019t leave slightly cross-eyed, full to the brim with the yummiest ribs on the island and a little worn out from all that shaking, then we\u2019re sorry to say that you\u2019ve gone to the wrong Nuri\u2019s. You\u2019ve been warned!<\/p>\n
