Come sundown, it shifts into a super popular pre-dinner spot, where it seems the entire Canggu neighbourhood flocks to for sunset drinks and catch-ups. I like to roll in late arvo, order the fish tacos and a ginger margarita, and settle in for that golden glow. The menu leans Japanese Izakaya, but with a modern, international twist. I always start with the sashimi \u2014 buttery fresh and sliced to order \u2014 then work my way through the yakitori skewers and robata grill specials. The ramen\u2019s worth a look too if you\u2019re craving something comforting.<\/p>\n<p>Come sunset, head straight to the rooftop. Just open-air dining and old-school service in a breezy pavilion, right by the beach. Even the walk to the restaurant is a treat, past Petitenget Temple and over a cute little bridge. I\u2019ve been coming here for years \u2014 and it hasn\u2019t changed, which is exactly why I keep returning.<\/p>\n<p>The Italian-style menu is straightforward but beautifully done. There&#8217;s grilled fish, some of the best pasta I&#8217;ve ever tried, and crisp salads for on the side. Even the olive oil and focaccia while you wait is pure perfection.
