It’s amazing, or not, how quickly one can get used to having your own personal, private butler! \u00a0As if the million dollar views and endless infinity pools<\/a> don’t float your Uluwatu luxury villa boat\u00a0enough, then the private butler will certainly tip it happily and luxuriously over the edge<\/a>! \u00a0 But then again, luxe-to-a-new-level is\u00a0exactly what Bali’s\u00a0the edge luxe villas are all about!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>
The stunning views stretch out from every direction and location on this property<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bali is the land of stunning, luxury villas<\/a> so you’ve probably already heard of the edge, perched grandly on top of Uluwatu’s stunning cliffs<\/a> that show off endless views into the Indian Ocean beyond. This villa complex of four individual properties that can be rented together in any combination, is a stunner\u00a0only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful beaches of Padang Padang or Bingin<\/a>, or to a rocking sunset vista at Single Fin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The jewel in the crown is a tough decision. \u00a0The epic, five bedroom masterpiece on the highest location with views stretching endlessly in a 180 degree panorama, is the obvious choice. Not only for its huge size, two infinity pools, perfectly placed bale and outdoor lounging\/dining area. \u00a0But equally for its cinema media room, children’s play room and wine cellar!<\/p>\n

\"Uluwatu<\/a>
The edge is one of Bali’s most luxurious and stunning villas in Uluwatu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The other contender of course is the one bedroom honeymoon villa, with plunge pool and those endless, uninterrupted views of the sparkling ocean once more. \u00a0All yours. \u00a0Also with a brilliant location and luxurious touches, you can check in here and feel like you’re the only villa for miles… unless of course you want to venture to the main pool area with bar, the gym or that amazing spa. Touche!<\/p>\n

So let’s talk Spa<\/a>. \u00a0 It’s not every day your treatments are conducted in water, ie. the floor to the main spa area is covered in ankle-high water to swoosh around in. \u00a0Cooling, and relaxing. \u00a0Treatments are luxe, and varied – so much on offer. \u00a0And the therapists here good, such knowledge and beauty on the inside and out. \u00a0The spa looks out across that million-dollar, ocean view and has it’s own relaxation deck … so stay a while.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a>
Four treatment rooms at this award-winning spa give you no excuse to leave the property<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Two other villas each have two equally sized, master-inspired bedrooms and vast living, relaxation and lounge areas. \u00a0Pools, lounging and outdoor relaxation areas too, naturally.<\/p>\n

But let’s get back to those butlers. \u00a0It’s a whole new level of luxury, having every thought or whim taken care of, and one we’ve since found ourselves missing. \u00a0From receiving your check-in questionnaire – personalising your tea, arrival drink, pillow, slippers and even training shoe size requests – through to their personal pick ups and drop offs, it’s a world we’re pretty happy in. \u00a0Even organising the impressive, in-villa meal selections (more like a proper restaurant) is just too easy.<\/p>\n

Stay a while in the master-suite inspired rooms at the edge<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

So, is it worth living it up a little or a lot on (at) the edge? \u00a0 Aaaaah, yes. \u00a0We recommend it\u00a0especially for a group holiday, wedding or special party occasion<\/a> as the location deserves to be shared and there’s only so much Insta-sharing one can do on their own. \u00a0Watch out for the new developments coming into 2016 (check with the resort re this building status until its finished), we’re already planning our check in!<\/a>
