Hip new BURO is an open-spaced mash up of retail concept store<\/a>, coffee bar<\/a>, co-working (since we dream of having an office like this!) and art exhibition space.\u00a0\u00a0 The gorgeous, light and bright venue\u00a0acts as a physical store where a combination of design, art and craft makes for\u00a0a unique retail experience<\/a> – and especially for Bali.<\/p>\n

Located above the fabulous Livingstone caf\u00e9 and bakery<\/a> at the Batu Belig and Kerobokan junction, the concept store showcases a beautifully curated range of products across clothing<\/a>, accessories, shoes, books, magazines and music to homewares<\/a>, furniture<\/a> and art.<\/p>\n

Would you like a beautiful new watch from a hip, young designer, to go with your designer coffee whilst waiting for your Skype call to start? No problem! \u00a0The vast space promotes the creativity of young designers from Indonesia and overseas, mixed with loads of appreciation for specialty coffee and delicious food and drinks.<\/p>\n

Unique artworks and international design magazines are on tap<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Many ranges are exclusive to Bali, and all products share a common theme of fine,minimalist\u00a0design, and excellent quality. Some gorgeous pieces to look out for include Tekuni Cups, special collaboration of handmade cappuccino and espresso cups with a locally based ceramics maker; Havehad, a range of \u2018athleisure\u2019 dress shoes and daily wearable sneakers; Sixteen Denim Scale – a hip, local denim brand; and the marble faced, minimalist Taste watch ranges from Bangkok.<\/p>\n

The Woodencycle is as good for the environment as it looks<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

But our favourite is the Woodencycle \u2013 a one of a kind pushbike, made from recycled wood from Indonesia, beautifully handcrafted and designed in Italy.<\/p>\n

Besides their passion (did we say obsession!) for design, art and curated retail, they really get excited about specialty coffee. We love that they\u2019re not shy about their passion for grinding, tamping, brewing and steaming coffee beans to deliver the best possible espresso, foamy cappuccinos and refreshing manual brewing.<\/p>\n

Their collaboration with coffee enthusiasts means that they source and share the best beans from all over Indonesia. Next to their caffeine obsession, they have a thing for gathering teas, pressing juices and infusing waters. \u00a0 And their\u00a0casual dining format kitchen will soon be supported with organic ingredients from their\u00a0own garden boxes and balcony!<\/span><\/p>\n
