The Seminyak villa resort is tucked off Sunset Road (one of Bali\u2019s main roads), meaning easy access from Ngurah Rai International Airport (30-minute drive), and<\/em> Seminyak\u2019s Double Six Beach (10-minute drive). But if you think location is all it\u2019s got to offer, think again.<\/p>\n

I stayed at Impiana Seminyak recently and found that it\u2019s also a place where you can enjoy the best of both worlds: complete privacy with two restaurants, and one of Bali\u2019s best spas right on your doorstep. Review: My own private pool villa in Seminyak<\/h3>\n

The first thing I noticed when I arrived at Impiana Seminyak is how peaceful it felt. Despite being located in the busy Seminyak area, once you step inside the villa complex, the noise of the street fades away. My villa felt like an oasis, complete with lush tropical greenery, a private swimming pool at the heart, and an open-air living room on the second floor designed for slow Bali days. I loved waking up to chirping birds and swaying trees, and feeling like I was a world away from Seminyak.<\/p>\n

What made my staycation even more special was the option to not leave my own little bubble. You can request breakfast and afternoon tea to be delivered straight to your villa, you can book in-villa spa treatments, and have romantic dinners beneath the stars. I even got to treat myself to a floating grazing platter in my own pool when I checked in!<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re a Bali regular and a wellness seeker like me, then you\u2019ll know Prana Spa as one of the best on the island. But did you know that this legendary spa is actually part of Impiana Seminyak? So of course, I indulged in a self-care session at Prana Spa. The interiors are inspired by Moroccan and Indian palaces, with ornate lanterns, rich colours and intricate decor. And the spa treatments? Fit for royalty.<\/p>\n

I tried the Ayurvedic Simple Bliss Treatment, which lasted for two hours. It started with a full-body massage, followed by traditional Shirodara. The ritual uses medicated oil poured over your sixth chakra, as well as a head, neck and shoulder massage. I left feeling rejuvenated and light, both physically and mentally. And the best part? My villa is only footsteps from this palace-like spa\u2026<\/p>\n

While the villas are perfect for quiet nights in, there are also international dining options within the Impiana complex. After my spa treatment, I was pleasantly surprised to find Frangipaani Restaurant located within Prana Spa. It\u2019s a charming Indian restaurant with opulent indoor and breezy outdoor seating overlooking Prana Spa\u2019s stunning architecture. I went with my favourites: crunchy pani puri and a hearty chicken vindaloo with buttery naan. It\u2019s an ideal spot for a peaceful dinner away from the crowds.<\/p>\n

For something a little livelier, head to Oswego Restaurant on the street side of the property. This casual dining spot has a welcoming neighbourhood feel, serving Indonesian and international favourites. It\u2019s a great place to start the day with breakfast before heading out to explore Seminyak, or for dinner serenaded by a live band. There are weekly events and morning activities too \u2013 just be sure to check with the team if you\u2019d like to add this to your stay experience.<\/p>\n

Having these dining options right on the doorstep adds another layer of convenience. You can enjoy comfort food without needing to venture far, yet you\u2019re still surrounded by the vibrant dining scene that Seminyak is known for.<\/p>\n
