There\u2019s a luxuriously creamy chicken korma, a fragrant Nawabi Murgh Biryani (my personal favourite), and a perfectly charred Tandoori fish, cooked the traditional way in a clay oven for a smoky, tender finish. What truly sets Spice Mantraa apart, though, is the chefs\u2019 contemporary spin on classic recipes. Dinner beckons with Sri Lankan \u2018short eats\u2019 (appetisers and bites) alongside hearty curries and sides designed to share family-style.<\/p>\n<p>The standouts are the hot butter halloumi and the short-rib <em>chukka<\/em>, followed closely by the prawn <em>chingri<\/em> curry and the eggplant <em>moju<\/em>. And with Bacari (Ubud&#8217;s best wine bar) as its sister restaurant, Galle Club also lists 12 spectacular wines by the glass served using the Coravin wine preservation system.
