From the Gold Coast to Bali with a whole lotta love (and deliciousness!), Australia\u2019s trailblazing Ruse Restaurant Group has now brought their culinary flair to the heart of Canggu, this time with Peachy<\/a><\/strong>. Standing right in the middle of Canggu’s emerald green rice paddies, you can’t miss this two-storey rooftop bar and restaurant as you ride along the famous Canggu shortcut.<\/p>\n

This laid-back lounge is now the spot<\/em> to while away a sunshiney day in the ‘Gu, where breakfast is served with breezy rice fields views, and cocktails are dished up alongside cotton candy skies and Middle Eastern-inspired plates of prawns, pork belly and smoked coral trout – all designed to be swapped and shared with friends.<\/p>\n

And while we love the colourful indoor dining room downstairs (it’s a great option for a date night with a difference!), we say, head upstairs to the lively outdoor patio area for brekkie, lunch or dinner with stunning rice paddy vistas. Oh yes, a day spent here is just Peachy…<\/p>\n

Sharing is caring at Peachy<\/h3>\n

\"Peachy<\/p>\n

Just one look at Peachy’s perfectly plated creations, and it’s clear that the food here is the fine work of extremely passionate chefs, sharing their love of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours. Each dish nods to the techniques and expertise of fine dining, but without all the fuss or formalities. Instead, the menu is easy-going but brilliant, harnessing an eco-conscious approach to cooking by sourcing the very best local produce from nearby farmers, paying homage to the restaurant\u2019s surroundings, AKA Bali’s beautiful landscapes.<\/p>\n

Expect to see high-end ingredients like Australian ribeye, sous vide octopus and freshly shucked oysters, all presented in small and large plates that you can casually graze through with family and friends. Try the clams tossed in a fermented chilli, garlic and honey sauce, or the deep fried prawn and pork dumplings served with harissa aioli.<\/p>\n

And if you don\u2019t want to swap and share? Don\u2019t worry, we get it, and so do the chefs. The kitchen also offers individual large plates to feast on by yourself, like the roasted half-chicken, the local barramundi, or our fave, the pulled lamb shawarma wth chat potatoes and pickles, wrapped in soft flat bread. You can even add on extra sides, and of course, finish it off with Peachy’s delish desserts.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s never too early to raise a glass at Peachy<\/h3>\n

Peachy knows that it\u2019s always five o\u2019clock somewhere, so highly crafted cocktails are their specialty. The Peachy mixologists concoct creative blends influenced by Indonesia’s robust landscapes, using local ingredients like fragrant pandan <\/em>leaves, zingy soursop fruit and red ginger lily (AKA kecombrang –<\/em> a native herb). Some of the cocktails even feature Indonesian rum and gin, alongside imported brands like Bombay Sapphire. Try the Pandan Colada for a local twist on the classic, or the Tamarillo Margarita with tequila, cointreau, tamarillo, rosella, lemon and a rosella salted rim.<\/p>\n

But that’s not all. Peachy also pours local beers on tap (best sipped at golden hour), and for wine connoisseurs, you\u2019ll be pleased to know that Peachy’s wine cellar is just as impressive, with a wide selection of sparkling, ros\u00e9, red and white wines sourced from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Overlooking the beautiful rice fields, the rooftop lounge really is the jewel in Peachy’s crown – a perfect spot to kick back with a cocktail or three and watch the sky turn to peach-coloured hues. It’s the perfect backdrop for Peachy’s vibrant interiors, where the always-smiling staff top off the warm and cosy setting.<\/p>\n

And if you don’t feel like dining on the rooftop? Simply step through the glass doors where the peachy walls and retro neon signs take you back to the 70s.
