How to book:<\/strong> Walk-ins are not recommended at Uluwatu’s top spas, so always book ahead. Most spas take reservations directly via WhatsApp, while others are on the Fresha app.<\/p>\n

Best time to go:<\/strong> My personal favourite time for a spa visit is the middle of the day. There’s nothing like stepping into an air-conditioned massage room after a hot morning at the beach. It also frees up your evenings for sunset drinks and dinner.<\/p>\n

What does a massage cost in Bali:<\/strong> Budget spas in Uluwatu start from around IDR 150,000 to 200,000 for a 60-minute massage, mid-range options sit around IDR 300,000 to 700,000, and the luxury clifftop spas can top IDR 1,000,000++. For reference, I’ve included the starting price of a one-hour Balinese massage for every spa on this list.<\/p>\n

Tipping:<\/strong> Tipping isn’t mandatory at spas in Bali (most prices include service fees), but it’s always appreciated. A tip of IDR 20,000 to 50,000 for a standard treatment is a kind gesture, especially for standout experiences.<\/p>\n
