Berawa is positively bursting with cool cafes and daytime hangs, but if you ask us, the options are pretty limited when it comes to after-dark restaurants that gear you up for a night out. That was, until BB52<\/a><\/strong> opened its second address in Bali – this time in Canggu\u2019s ultra-trendy little sister neighbourhood…<\/p>\n

Now open in both central Canggu and most recently in Berawa<\/a>, this sleek and sultry burger & gin bar ticks off all of those pre-party key ingredients: epic burgers<\/a>, craft cocktails, and a saucy vibe (pun intended) that\u2019ll have you dancing on the table before you can say \u201cdripping dirty fries\u201d. Yup, BB52 has got the whole \u201cBurger & Gin\u201d brief down pat, so we gathered our Saturday night crew to check it all out…<\/p>\n

\"BB52<\/p>\n

The burgers<\/h3>\n

BB52<\/a><\/strong> is officially the<\/em> place to pre-drink and party in Berawa, but the burgers are of course the main event here. Expect to see all of the original BB52 favourites at this sleek new location (meat and vegan versions included, obvs), served up within the same party-starting vibes, alongside dripping dirty fries, naughty sides, and of course, BB52\u2019s signature collection of homemade craft gins.<\/p>\n

But back to those burgers. Meat eaters, you\u2019ll want to try the signature BB52 burger, generously filled with imported and house-crafted Australian beef, caramelised onions, cheddar cheese, bacon and BB52\u2019s secret BBQ sauce. Or, if you\u2019re sans-meat, BB52 has got you covered with some of the \u2018meatiest\u2019 vegan options around. Try The Mushie with its mushroom patty, vegan brie cheese, roasted mushroom, rucola, mayo and smoky bbq sauce – it\u2019s just as juicy, succulent and gluttonous as its carnivorous contenders….<\/p>\n

The gins<\/h3>\n

Of course, all of BB52\u2019s burgers<\/a><\/strong> are best enjoyed with a tipple or three, and if you\u2019re into your gins, you\u2019re in for a serious treat at BB52. Co-Founder and Head Mixologist Ado has created his very own range of home-crafted gins for your sipping pleasure. Using a three-phase process to infuse and distill roots, spices, herbs and fruits, these craft creations are the real deal.<\/p>\n

Our fave? Try the \u2018Orenji Gin\u2019 with its delicate botanicals and subtle notes of honey and orange. Light, refreshing, and perfectly rounded (it can be enjoyed on the rocks or mixed with tonic) the aromas of this utterly unique gin somehow capture the flavours and feelings of spring. You\u2019ll just have to try it to understand what we mean…<\/p>\n

The BB52 style<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re already well acquainted with BB52\u2019s naughty neon signs, edgy interiors and musically-charged vibes, then it won\u2019t be hard to spot this new Berawa location, complete with indoor and outdoor areas to mix and mingle into the night. And in true BB52 style<\/a><\/strong>, you can expect all of those top-notch signature touches too…<\/p>\n

You see, while BB52 is unashamedly playful, provocative and oh-so sultry, when it comes to the experience, these guys don\u2019t mess around. They use the freshest ingredients, they homemake most of their signatures (like the burger patties, the gins and the kombuchas) and they\u2019re all about the people, AKA you and your burger-lovin’ besties.<\/p>\n

And to make sure you have a finger-lickin\u2019 good time? BB52 puts on a regular roster of entertainment, from DJ sets to live performances and even art collaborations. Top tip: swing by for \u201cSaturday Fever\u201d when any burger and any craft gin is just IDR 100,000 (topped off with beats from their resident DJs) or sign up to the Burger Challenge to devour 800g of burger, mac & cheese and fries faster than the record time.<\/p>\n
