Brought to the island by Indonesia\u2019s unstoppable ISMAYA Group<\/a> (the brains behind Manarai Beach House<\/a> in Nusa Dua<\/a>) Djournal Coffee in Seminyak marks the nineteenth Djournal address in Indonesia, joining its sister locations across Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya. And just like its predecessors, this new Seminyak location is all about bringing you the best cup of coffee<\/a> using 100% Indonesian-origin beans, from Bali, Mandheling, Papua, Aceh and Toraja, as well as the signature house blend, Djakarta Roast.<\/p>\n

Not your standard cup of \u201ckopi\u201d, Djournal Coffee is where you can sip on a wide-range of artisan brews, ranging from specialist espresso-based coffees, to pour over, cold drip and even the special nitro brewing method,\u00a0exclusive to the Bali address and used for the Nitro Cold Brew Macchiato (trust us when we say you need to try this one!).<\/p>\n

But in true Ismaya style, coffee isn\u2019t the only thing done oh-so well here. Continuing on their quest to celebrate Indonesia in all shapes and forms, Djournal Coffee in Seminyak is also where you can chow down on an array of delicious, hearty and healthy dishes that infuse local flavours into international favourites, from all-day brekkies, to small bites, burgers and mains\u2026<\/p>\n

Dubbed \u201cSeminyak Specials\u201d, the menu at Djournal Coffee has managed to take iconic flavours from Indonesia and merge them with international icons. We\u2019re talking Crispy Pork Belly with Balinese sambal matah<\/em>, Eggs Benedict with a Batavian twist (hellooo crispy hash browns) plus all of your usual cafe must-haves that use local ingredients from nearby farms.<\/p>\n

And of course, there\u2019s plenty of vegetarian options here too, from healthy smoothie bowls and a couscous quinoa salad, to the naughty but oh-so nice grilled cheese sandwich with gooey bechamel and spinach, generously stuffed for every mouthwatering bite.<\/p>\n

Think rustic industrial interiors that flow from the air-conditioned indoor dining area, to the outdoor deck that overlooks one of Seminyak\u2019s last remaining, emerald green rice paddies.
