Christmas Eve is one of my favourite nights of the year in Bali. It\u2019s quieter than Christmas Day, when everyone piles into long brunches and the traffic goes wild, and it’s the night most resorts save for candlelit set menus and family buffets.<\/p>\n

I’ve spent 14 Christmases in Bali now (and counting!), and in that time, I’ve learned that the best Christmas Eve in Bali comes down to logistics. Book early, stay close to where you’re dining, and don’t go overboard (save the big boozy stuff for Christmas Day!). Then it’s simply a case of choosing whether you want a more intimate set-course dinner by candlelight, or a family-friendly hotel buffet.<\/p>\n
