It\u2019s no secret that we love a beachfront Bali villa for our luxury\u00a0weekend escapes<\/a>, but after staying at the gorgeous four-bedroom Villa Naga Putih in the heart of Ubud\u2019s lush, verdant valleys, we\u2019d be happy swapping the white sands<\/a> and crashing surf<\/a> for Ubud\u2019s vibrant jungle any day of the week.<\/p>\n

You see, Villa Naga Putih is unlike any other villa we\u2019ve stepped our forest feet into. For starters, it\u2019s a stunning, architecturally designed residence with all aspects of modern living and facilities provided. We\u2019re talking a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living area with state-of-the-art surround sound, and even a media room hooked up to Netflix, cable TV and DVDs.<\/p>\n

But that\u2019s not what sets Villa Naga Putih apart. Not even close.<\/p>\n

\"Villa<\/p>\n

The difference with this three-storey luxury abode is in the way it makes you feel<\/em>. It feels like home, if your home happened to be a drop-dead-stylish jungle mansion that\u2019s been so impressively nestled into the tropical wilderness of Ubud\u2019s treetops, you feel like the only resident around.<\/p>\n

Add to that the attention to detail of the villa\u2019s furnishings – the kind of attention you\u2019d only put into your own home – and you may as well move in for good. There\u2019s no cookie-cutter decor here, nor any cheap knick-knacks hanging on the walls. Only unique and personal treasures from across Indonesia and beyond<\/a> that have seamlessly found their place in this spectacular setting above Petanu River in the historic village of Umahanyar.<\/p>\n

And then there are the snug (yet totally luxe) lolling spaces. The kind you\u2019d want at home. Whether it be relaxing with family on the enormous squishy sofa, socialising with friends on a cushion-covered gazebo overlooking the 13-metre infinity pool<\/a> (yup, the Villa Naga Putih pool is out of this world), or soaking up an enchanting jungle view from one of many exquisite wooden balconies.<\/p>\n
