We profiled designer Dewi Wangsa of the homegrown label Olenka and learning about her inspirations just made us fall in love with her swimwear designs. They manage to be retro-inspired while still fashionable and forward-looking. In addition to the cut, Olenka’s patterns are also worth noting. We don’t know how she does it all but we’ll wear it gladly!

Another local swimwear brand that’s among the best ones is Twenty Forteen. The retailer offers various designs with playful motifs like stripes and polkadots, and you can even have yours custom-made. If you prefer to cover up, you’ll love that both their one-piece and two-piece swimsuits are not too revealing.
