But the catch? Having to choose between them all. Well, if you’re more of a seaside lounger rather than a raucous beach clubber, then you’ll want to check out S.K.A.I. Beach Club at Padma Resort Legian – a laid-back and loungey beach club away from the party crowds.
You see, with its serene seaside location right by Legian Beach (which, FYI, also means breathtaking sunset views) S.K.A.I. Beach Club offers a totally different oceanfront experience to your typical Bali beach club – think live music instead of lively DJs, and an oceanfront infinity pool not just for sun-soakers, but for friends and families too…

One of the best things about S.K.A.I. Beach Club is of course, the view. Facing directly onto Legian Beach, this fabulous establishment is where it’s at for oceanfront gazing, particularly when it comes to golden hour. With both indoor and outdoor seating (the alfresco area is our fave) there’s plenty of lolling spots to soak it all in – just get there early to snatch your preferred sunset seat, whether that be a cosy cabana or shaded sun lounger sitting beside that impressive infinity pool. And the kicker? Just because this watering hole is housed within a resort venue, that doesn’t mean you can’t dive right in – this is one day-to-night destination that’s open to everyone.
Light bites & giant Martinis
Another thing we love about S.K.A.I. Beach Club is the eclectic menu of light bites and plates to share – from dawn until dusk and beyond. Coming in the morning? There’s a delicious breakfast buffet for early risers, followed by an all-day menu of a la carte dishes for when you decide to lounge a little longer, right through to the evening. The perfect sundowner accompaniments? Try the S.K.A.I. Platter to share, or feast on the chef’s signature wood-fired Spanish Chorizo Pepperoni Pizza. And what goes just right with pizza and pool sunsets? A cold beer of course, or more specifically, S.K.A.I.’s minus 2 degree beer! In the mood for cocktails? Try the signature Giant Martini that’s four times the regular size, because after all, it’s not without reason that “S.K.A.I.” stands for Sunset, Kocktail, Alfresco, and Indulgence…
Live chill-out music
If loud party music just doesn’t do it for you, then you’ll love S.K.A.I. Beach Club for its chilled-out roster of live music. Instead of DJ performances and wild pool parties, this Bali beach club offers live music throughout the week to match the tropical vibrations and swaying palms above. On Tuesdays, come for the ‘Reggae by the Beach’ sessions, and come back every Friday for the famous ‘Back to Classics’ event where all the hits from the 70s to the 90s liven up the summer vibes from 5pm ‘til late – just in time for golden hour and S.K.A.I Beach Club’s iconic evening ambiance…
