It seems like only yesterday that the doors swung open to this iconic island destination, and yet, June 2024 marks seven marvellous years of this island icon. Renewing its commitment to the Seminyak community, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach has carefully curated “Seriously Seven” activations throughout the month of June to mark seven years in the neighbourhood. There’ll be artwork from Indonesian artists, resort-wide discounts, bar takeovers by seven talented mixologists, as well as spiritual, social and fitness events happening on the anniversary day itself on June 16th 2024.

1. Spot hidden artwork throughout the resort
The anniversary of this art-filled resort wouldn’t be complete without more art! So to kick off the celebrations, Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach will be casting a spotlight on renowned Indonesian artists. Hunt for distinctive art installations by Alam Taslim, AKA Igor (short for “Indomie Goreng), camouflaged amongst the resort’s vibrant grounds. Or spot his iconic “noodles-with-a-twist” art on display at Makase, the resort’s signature Southeast Asian restaurant. Psst – check out Makase’s menu for the special Igor-inspired noodles available only in June!
2. Take home artistic gifts
If you’re lucky enough to be staying in the resort during the anniversary month, look out for a special treat inside your room! We don’t want to ruin the surprise, but expect a limited-edition tote bag, custom-designed for Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach by Pansaka, a Balinese graphic designer and the man behind some of the island’s most iconic murals. 3. A journey of seven spiritual destinations
Staying true to their Balinese roots, the resort’s hospitality team will be celebrating the anniversary by embarking on a spiritual journey to seven sacred temples. The journey begins at home in Seminyak at the resident temple, Camplung Tanduk, and at the neighbouring Petitenget Temple. Then, they’ll continue their way to Sakenan on Serangan island, Tanah Kilap near Kuta, Geger Dalem and Gunung Payung in Nusa Dua, before ending at the iconic and ever-gorgeous Uluwatu Temple that teeters on the cliff’s edge.
4. Activities that give back
Since the local Seminyak neighbourhood stands at the heart of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, the “Seriously Seven” agenda will be made even more special with activities that give back to the local community and the island. Partnering with a number of local heroes and organisations, the resort team will be participating in a range of social and environmental activities – think beach and mangrove clean-ups with Sungai Watch, visiting charitable foundations and orphanages, and sweeping the mountainous pathways of Puncak Mangu Temple.

5. Activations for the mind, body and soul
On Sunday 16th June 2024, AKA the big “Seriously Seven” anniversary, guests are invited to join in on a handful of complimentary fitness activities. Start the day right with yoga and meditation to balance out your seven Chakras, then at 4pm, sweat it out with the Seven Circuits Fit designed by the resort’s professional recreation team.
6. Make it a whole month of grazing
Throughout the anniversary month, everyone and anyone can score 30% off at the resort’s finest wining and dining destinations. Wake up to freshly baked pastries and coffee at Pottery Cafe (and browse Bali-made ceramics by Kevala!), then feast on Southeast Asian flavours with contemporary twists at Makase. Or, take things to the beachfront at SugarSand where you can graze on Japanese-inspired bites beside the glittering infinity pool. It also happens to be the best seat in the house for sunset, so you’ll want to stick around for those golden sea views and multiple rounds of signature cocktails…
7. Seven guest mixologists for “Seriously Seven” years
It wouldn’t be an anniversary without raising a glass (or seven!) to the occasion, so Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach will be hosting seven bar takeovers throughout the month of June. Head oceanfront to SugarSand and prop up the bar to get a taste of the signature tipples, shaken and stirred by seven guest mixologists from some of Indonesia’s most sought after bars. Taking centre stage will be Dewa Buda from Amici and The Iron Fairies, Borty from Bali Boozy Kitchen & Bar, Agung Satria from Bacardi-Martini Indonesia, and many, many more!
