The first Sunny Side Up Festival in Bali
The Island of the Gods is just about to get more ambrosial. Bringing world-class mixology and internationally acclaimed artists – a combination nobody can resist – the inaugural Sunny Side Up festival is kicking off this August at the famed Potato Head Beach Club.
Brought to you by the PTT Family and Ismaya Live (the folk behind Djakarta Warehouse Project), Sunny Side Up will be featuring a roster of award-winning bartenders from all over the world – we’re glad someone finally stood up to the typical boozy offerings (read: beer) at music festivals! The coolest part? Sunny Side Up will see unique collabs between musicians and mixologists creating bespoke cocktails that’ll be available only during the event.
Know for her unique voice and infectious tunes, the first headliner at Sunny Side Up is none other than British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding. We’re gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn!
Sorry for getting ahead of ourselves; while the full line-up of pop, rap, and electronic performers isn’t out yet, the artists who’ve confirmed their attendances are enough for us to get all hyped up.
Expect Goldroom, the solo effort of L.A synthpop trio Nightwaves’ Josh Legg, to paint the soundscape of summertime with his amalgamation of dreamy synths, emotive vocals, and tropical disco grooves. Hailing from Harlem, Azealia Banks, who’s worked with the likes of Pharrell Williams, the Scissor Sisters, and Lady Gaga for her debut album, will entertain with her rap artistry.
