Following this, you will be taken to the culinary heart of the Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort itself, the kitchen [yep, there will be no sitting at the restaurant for you this time!]. Here you’ll meet the culinary team, including Executive Chef, Rossano Renzelli.
Renzelli originates from Italy, and learnt to cook from a young age [in particular, cooking delicious pasta for his grandmother!]. His passion for fresh ingredients, sensual food and Italian flavours led him all over the world, before he finally settled in Bali. Here he aims to create the same homely experience he had in Italy, of eating tasty food with loved ones, in a beautiful environment. And Chef’s Kitchen Table does just that!
Having met the culinary team, you will be given a once in a lifetime opportunity to take a look around the kitchen to see where the magic happens [whilst eating freshly prepared appetizers and sipping sparkling wine!]. You will see [and smell] fresh bread come out of the oven, you will learn how to make your own dish, and you will see the kitchen staff preparing your five course meal. This is your chance to see a hotel kitchen in full swing!
Next, you will sit down to a wonderful five course meal in the unique environment of the – you guessed it – Chef’s Kitchen! Sit front row, amongst the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, and watch your dishes come to life as the kitchen staff carefully craft exquisite dishes. The whole experience shuns the standard restaurant vibes – here, instead of menus, the dishes will be written on paper, you will eat out of pots and pans, drink out of bell peppers, and you will use tea towels for napkins! And you can chat to the Chefs all night! Sounds pretty out of the ordinary to us!
Also included in the experience are a selection of fine wines from the Sheraton’s award-winning wine list.
