Ayu Larasati is one of Jakarta’s most talented young ceramicists (we would know, we covered her awhile back). All of her wheel-thrown stoneware creations are impressively 100% handmade in her own home pottery studio. As a ceramic artist, Larasati definitely has a knack for picking the best glazing techniques and unique colour combinations to elevate otherwise simple bowls, mugs and trays.

Tekuni Keramik makes mealtimes more beautiful with their collection of handmade ceramics painted in gorgeous shades of pastel colours. We love everything about their collection, but if we had to pick a favourite, it would be Tekuni Keramik’s wonderfully whimsical teacups with charming little creatures perched on the edge.

Derau Made’s quirky ceramic decorative bowls and spoons have a rustic and homely appeal about their designs. Every single item is individually handmade, resulting in a one-of-a-kind clay piece that is exclusively yours. Our favourites?
