Bio : Damian Lazarus is a master DJ and visionary behind Crosstown Rebels, known for creating immersive musical experiences in unique locations like jungles, beaches, and mountains. His iconic festivals, Day Zero, Get Lost, and Rebel Rave, reflect his innovative approach to music and event curation. Crosstown Rebels, which celebrated 20 years in 2023, has launched the careers of major artists like Jamie Jones and Maceo Plex.
Damian’s 2020 album “Flourish” captures his wide-ranging musical influences, spanning drum ‘n’ bass to techno. His work includes collaborations with Diplo, Jungle, and Gorgon City, with new material expected in 2024. He also composed the soundtrack for the documentary “Beijing Spring,” marking the first release on Crosstown’s sister label, Secret Teachings.
In Ibiza, Damian has established a strong presence with his residency at Hï alongside Black Coffee, and his legendary sets at CircoLoco. His career is marked by a commitment to creativity and innovation, consistently pushing the boundaries of electronic music.
