With its exclusive entrance on the hotel’s fourth floor, a grand spiral staircase, high vaulted ceilings, plush leather booths and a stunning ocean view fit for Jay Gatsby himself, The Plantation Grill and Sling Bar décor tips its boater hat to the classic Fitzgerald novel. The brainchild of Robert Marchetti (North Bondi Italian Food and Icebergs Dining Room) and Kadek Wiranatha (Ku De Ta and Chez Gado Gado), it’s latest addition to the hotel’s three dining establishments Seminyak Italian Food, Double-Six Rooftop and The Lagoon Bar.
Conjure your inner Daisy Buchanan and don your glitziest gown this Christmas Eve as you sip Champagne and nibble on canapés at the dinner party. The merry-making, complete with live music and the party, roll on to Christmas Day, featuring a lavish set lunch of the finest dry aged meats and seafood, grilled to perfection in the restaurant’s custom-made wood-fire and coal grills and ovens.
Not in the mood for opulence? Feast on a rustic four-course Christmas Feast with the family at Seminyak Italian Food, and treat yourself to some of the finest Italian wines hand-picked by Marchetti himself. There’s also wide variety of cocktails to be had for a tropical Christmas. Try the Mellini, a local twist on the classic Bellini with a refreshing blend of melon purée, prosecco and Massanez peach liqueur.
