What: Ismaya Live’s inaugural We The Fest has had us in a tizzy since early summer after announcing the first phase of its lineup featuring British songstress Ellie Goulding and the uber cool Banks. Then it just got better as more big names were added to the bill, including Azealia Banks and Jakarta’s favourite adopted son, Mayer Hawthorne. When you’re tired of grooving, WTF also promises quality arts, fashion, and food to keep you entertained.

What: Seems like the WTF headliners love Bali holidays as much as we do! This is great news for our friends in Bali – not only will they get to see their favorite international acts live, Sunny Side Up will also be feature well-crafted innovative cocktails that Potato Head is known for. What: It’s no secret that Bali has a rockin’ party scene, especially for EDM fans. For those who can’t wait until December’s Djakarta Warehouse Project (expanded to two days this year!), Dreamfields is an all-night dance party featuring established DJs and international up-and-comers. If you go, don’t miss Sidney Samson, who landed the coveted resident DJ spot at The Matrixx, the largest club in the Netherlands (and you know the Dutch know how to party!) when he was just 22. Since then, he has worked with some of the biggest names in party music including Lil Jon, Will.I.Am, and Lil Wayne. Ummet Ozcan will also be headlining, you might know him from opening for some of the biggest names in EDM, including Tiesto and David Guetta.

What: With all of the frenzy over K-pop, let’s not forget that Japanese anime is still an international phenomenon. Oktaus in Jakarta will get their chance to geek out when some of the biggest names in anime music take the stage at the Plenary Hall for two whole days. Highlights include DJ Kazu, whose anime mix cds have sold over 1 million copies; and Eir Aoi, a former model whose sweet voice can be heard in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam AGE and Sword Art Online.
