Not for the faint hearted: It’s time to revisit the newly expanded Wild Wild Wet for rides that will send your hearts racing
Most Singaporeans would already be familiar with Wild Wild Wet – now an integrated leisure destination with D’Resort in the East. After all, who could forget the chalet get-togethers that were the rite of passage for every teenager in Singapore? If we’ve got you reminiscing about the good ol’ days, then it’s time to make that trip back in time! The water park has since amped up the thrills with brand new rides and water slides that promise an adrenaline rush like no other.
Check out the attraction’s 16 key features including new attractions, Kraken Racers (Singapore’s first four-lane mat racer slide) and Vortex (the first high speed 360-degree extreme loops ride here). If you’re looking for something more family-friendly, there’s a pint-sized version of the newly-opened rides at the Kidz Zone.
At Downtown East, you won’t have to look too far for more entertainment choices. It boasts an indoor children’s playground (we heard it’s one of the largest in the East!), a cineplex, a bowling alley, and over 100 retail and F&B outlets. For a full staycation experience, you can book a stay there at D’Resort – it houses 387 rooms and there are also special activities available for the whole family. Simply approach the information desk to enquire about urban farming, cycling or kayaking to Singapore’s first floating halal kelong restaurant.
