LUXE Singapore
Brunch addicts will be thrilled to know that Luxe Singapore has launched a revamped all-day brunch menu that’s brimming with goodness. There’s something for everyone here — from health conscious folks to those with ravenous appetites
For something more sensible and healthy, the Granola with Yogurt, Blood Orange and Pomegranate Salad ($16) is a tasty option that’s worth a try, even if you’re a self-professed meat eater. If you’re looking for something more substantial, the All-Australian Breakfast ($26) is for you — scrambled eggs, bacon, cumin roasted tomatoes, pork and fennel sausages, avocado and mushrooms. If you want to give in to your sweet tooth, the Merryberry Ricotta Hotcakes ($20) is a must. It’s not often that hotcakes are served with a sprinkling of exploding candy pop rocks — an unexpected addition that we can get used to.

Bochinche
If you thought Bochinche was all about steaks, think again. This Argentinean restaurant at Martin Road is no one-trick-pony. They’ve got a rather extensive weekend brunch menu too that’s sure to satisfy and satiate.
Start off with their new small plate offerings, which we honestly think are far from small — one order can easily feed two to three people! We suggest going for the Watermelon Salad, Mozzarella Cream, Tomatoes and Pumpkin Seeds ($13) for a light, fresh start, setting the tone for the tasty journey you’re about to embark on. The Classic Provoleta Cheese, Almonds and Oregano Honey ($17) shouldn’t be missed because a bubbling platter of cheese drizzled with honey and spooned on top of freshly baked bread is what weekend dreams are made of.
However, dining at Bochinche won’t be complete without the meat. If steaks sound too indulgent, we’ve got a great alternative for you to check out. The Chimichurri Burger ($28) is a monster-sized burger made from ground rib eye and sandwiched along with provolone cheese, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce, a fried free-range egg and finished with a smear of zesty chimichurri on the bun.

OverEasy Orchard
For a full-on Americana brunch extravaganza at the heart of Orchard Road, make your way down to OverEasy Orchard, where you’ll be greeted not just by mouth-watering diner classics, but by funky ’80s-inspired interiors as well.
Once again, we’re not talking about your usual eggs benedict here. Instead, feast on unexpected options like Popcorn Chicken with Salted Caramel Popcorn ($16). The addictive chunks of tender chicken are coated with a cornflake batter for an irresistible crunch. Meanwhile, the Reuben Pastrami Sandwich ($18, or free if your name is Reuben!) is a mouthful – thick layer of cured pastrami, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut. And if your vision of brunch always includes waffles, make sure to order OverEasy’s signature Waffles & Wings ($22), served with maple syrup and honey butter. Crunchy, sweet and savoury – what’s not to love?

Mitzo
Cantonese fare and cocktails for brunch? We dig it. Besides, isn’t dimsum this side of the world’s answer to brunch?
At Mitzo, indulge in an ala carte buffet ($68++/food, $118++/food and free flow of cocktails, beer and wine) that consists of various dumplings, sweet and savoury buns, rice and noodle dishes, hearty double boiled soups, stir fried noodles and more. The star here however are the crispy pork belly served in a bun and Mitzo’s special barbecued pork, which is perhaps the best char siew you’ll ever have the pleasure of eating — a thin sugary crust surrounds the tender pork, finished off with the subtlest of barbecue flavours.
Taking boozy brunches to the next level is Mitzo’s DIY cocktail bar, where diners can craft their own drinks based on the various ingredients available. It’s a fun, novel concept, which is perhaps the icing on the cake of weekend culinary indulgence.

Clinton St. Baking Company & Restaurant
This NYC institution recently opened its doors in Singapore to much fanfare and it’s easy to see why: The food is honest and simple, the portions are more than generous and the vibe is relaxed — step in and you’ll feel like everyday is a lazy Sunday morning.
While the usual suspects like eggs benedict and French toast are on the menu, it’s the humble American breakfast classics that are worth raving about. First up are the Pancakes with Warm Maple Butter ($18) that you can choose to top with wild blueberries, banana walnut or chocolate chunk. Each bite presents the perfect marriage of fluffy and dense, while the accompanying warm maple butter bathes everything in sweet, buttery lusciousness.
Also worth a try is the Southern Breakfast ($18), which is a generous plate with two eggs any style, sugar-cured bacon, cheese grits and fried green tomatoes from California covered in panko for extra crunch. Other must-tries include the signature Chicken & Waffles ($21), Peanut Butter Ice Box Pie ($9.50) and the bourbon-infused Boozy Salted Caramel Milkshake ($15).
