Bob’s Bar is throwing a Caribbean shindig, and inviting Hiroyasu Kayama for a guest bartender shift this March
We love intimate wine bars and booming clubs for our boozy fix, but for a chilled out evening, an alfresco bar is our go-to. With cushy outdoor daybeds overlooking the lush greenery of Sentosa and a menu featuring 15 rum-based cocktails, Cuban-themed Bob’s Bar at Capella Singapore checks all the right boxes – and for the Singapore Cocktail Festival this March, they’re taking things to a whole new level.

The bar’s line-up will have you psyched, for sure. One of Japan’s top mixologists, Hiroyasu Kayama, will be guest bartending on 19 March, bringing with him his trademark botanical cocktails from one of Asia’s best bars, Ben Fiddich Tokyo. Sip on his signature cocktail, the Botanist Forest, while taking in Sentosa’s tropical vibes.
If you’re looking to dance the night away, immerse yourself in a full-blown Caribbean fiesta at Havana Nights on 17 March, where succulent meats will be grilled on a Cuban outdoor barbecue at the alfresco terrace. Oh, and it goes without saying that there will be plenty of cocktails and live Latin music!
